Lucy sells an annual subscription estimated at €400 to €600, including two blood tests, analysis of roughly 140 biomarkers, and a personalized action plan. The model targets people interested in preventive health rather than waiting for symptoms to trigger a medical checkup. The service is presented as a more accessible alternative to elite longevity routines popularized by figures such as Brian Johnson.
Customers receive a kit with instructions and sample materials, including containers for urine and saliva collection. Before the blood draw, they are advised to avoid intense exercise for 24 hours, stop eating by around 8 p.m., and arrive fasting, with no alcohol or drugs beforehand. Tests are carried out through partner laboratories rather than dedicated clinics, allowing appointments close to home.
The most striking part of the process is the volume of blood taken. A standard blood test often uses one to three vials, while pregnancy-related screening may require about six. Lucy draws 16 to 18 vials, making the appointment notably longer and more physically demanding, especially for people sensitive to needles or fasting.

The broader business opportunity may be larger than blood tests alone. If integrated with wearables, medical records, recurring lab work and coaching, a service like Lucy could become a central hub for personal health data. That raises comparisons to Strava for sports or wealth dashboards such as Finary, with blood testing functioning as the acquisition channel before upselling guidance, subscriptions, products or partnerships.
Two adjacent opportunities stand out: a similar service for pets, and a longevity-focused fitness app built around proven markers such as grip strength, mobility, leg power and daily movement. Companies like Garmin, Whoop or future consolidators could eventually move into this space through acquisition or direct competition.
