TL;DR

LotusFlare reports major efficiency and quality gains after integrating Google Workspace and Gemini AI into its operations, reducing complex task times from days to minutes.

KEY POINTS

Cloud platform for telecom services

LotusFlare operates a public cloud platform that enables service providers to manage customer interactions, subscriptions, billing, and product services. Its offering targets telecom and digital service companies seeking integrated customer lifecycle management. The platform emphasizes scalability and real-time engagement.

Deep reliance on Google Workspace

Since its early days, the company has relied on Google Workspace as a core operational layer. Beyond document creation, teams use collaborative tools such as shared editing, comments, and task assignments to coordinate work across distributed teams. This approach supports continuous collaboration rather than isolated workflows.

Compliance and data protection features

Built-in capabilities such as data classification and data loss prevention play a key role in meeting regulatory requirements. These tools allow the company to manage sensitive information securely while maintaining operational efficiency across global teams.

Enhanced communication through Google Meet

Improvements in Google Meet, including automatic transcription, translation, and meeting summaries, have streamlined communication. These features reduce manual note-taking and enable faster alignment across teams working in different regions and languages.

Early adoption of AI tools in Sheets

The company adopted AI-powered functions in Google Sheets early, enabling teams to generate contextual content directly within spreadsheets. Employees quickly learned to use these tools to answer complex questions and analyze data more effectively.

Integration of Gemini AI

The introduction of Gemini within Workspace marked a turning point in adoption of AI. Teams were encouraged to experiment with AI-assisted workflows, embedding generative capabilities into everyday tasks and decision-making processes.

Dramatic productivity improvements

One of the most significant gains appears in handling large customer questionnaires, often containing thousands of questions. Previously requiring up to a week of work, these tasks are now reduced to roughly 30 minutes using AI-generated draft responses as a baseline. This shift not only accelerates delivery but also improves consistency and response quality.

CONCLUSION

The integration of AI within collaborative cloud tools is reshaping enterprise workflows, with LotusFlare demonstrating how automation can significantly boost both speed and output quality.

You always need five takes, right? Make me an actor. LotusFlare provides a service out of public cloud for connected service providers to interact with customers, to manage and service products, to do the charging and billing and manage subscriptions. Since day one, Workspace has been a trusted and reliable companion in our journey as LotusFlare. It goes beyond just being a front end to type content and create content. It is collaborating on content. It is leveraging comments, assigning action items to people, discussing actively as a distributed organization. Google Workspace provides us all the capabilities, like data classification, data loss protection to meet compliance needs. Google Meet significantly improved with transcribing meetings, doing translations, creating summaries. From there on, we leveraged more and more of the features in Google Drive and the documents. Critical for our team was actually channeling the excitement to adopt AI. And at that point, also introduce the capabilities of Gemini as part of Workspace. We early on subscribed actually to the AI formula function in Sheets. And people very, very quickly discovered how to intelligently leverage generating content in the context of certain questions that were raised in the Sheets. So when thinking about the impact, what really stands out is efficiency and quality gains. What really impressed me is when I saw how teams are basically managing the questionnaires we are getting from potential customers. Usually those are huge questionnaires, thousands of questions that have to be answered in the context of our product, Those took easily a week in the past. Today, we augment Gemini, generate risk responses as a draft. This takes about a half hour to find the right information we actually use as baseline. It is not only saving time, it is also increasing the quality.
