Elon Musk's Boring Company secures $3B from UAE, valuation hits $23B

A funding round that changes the scale of the story

The Boring Company has announced a $3 billion Series D financing led by the United Arab Emirates and affiliated investment entities, valuing Elon Musk’s tunnel-building startup at $23 billion [1]. Who backed the round

The company said the round was led by the UAE and affiliated investment entities, with additional participation from Human Capital, Vy Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Temasek, Shamal Holding and Baron Capital, alongside other new and existing investors [1].
