SpaceX récupère le matériel de Starship dans l’océan Indien

SpaceX a récupéré un véhicule Starship dans l’océan Indien environ un mois après son lancement et le transporte au Texas pour analyse post-vol. Cette récupération ne signifie pas encore une réutilisation rapide, mais elle est importante opérationnellement : les ingénieurs peuvent examiner la performance du bouclier thermique, les charges structurelles, la corrosion, la survie des systèmes avioniques et les points de défaillance sur un matériel réel, plutôt que de se fier seulement à la télémétrie. Le modèle économique de Starship repose sur la réduction des coûts marginaux de lancement par la réutilisation à grande échelle, bien au-delà de Falcon 9. Sortir un véhicule de l’océan fournit des données physiques rares pour la campagne de tests suivante.
