Claude for Word: Turn a draft into a finished document

Claude for Word has launched inside Microsoft Word, adding document-wide review, comment synthesis, tracked editing, external file checking, and reusable editing skills across Word on the web, Windows, and Mac. Word integration across platforms Claude for Word appears in a side panel within Microsoft Word and can read the full document to help draft, edit, and revise content. The tool is available in Word on the web, on Windows, and on Mac, extending Claude’s capabilities directly into a standard workplace writing environment. Comment review grouped by reviewer The system can summarize open comment threads across a document and organize them by reviewer, giving teams a quick map of unresolved feedback. It also links each summary item back to the relevant passage, allowing users to jump directly to the underlying text rather than work through comments one by one.
