Cloudflare OS targets enterprise agents

Cloudflare announced Cloudflare OS, an open-source corporate AI platform built around a capability-based model for enterprise automation. The system is designed to let companies connect internal knowledge, automate workflows and optimize token costs, pushing Cloudflare beyond security, content delivery and edge computing into the AI operations layer. The important detail is architectural: capability-based access is meant to constrain what agents can do, a practical response to fears that AI workflows will leak data or trigger unsafe actions. If adopted, Cloudflare OS could turn the company’s existing network footprint into a control plane for enterprise AI agents.
