INTRO

CONCLUSION

Les agents IA peuvent apporter des gains de productivité significatifs, mais seule une partie d’entre eux répond actuellement aux attentes d’une automatisation fluide, avec Base44 Super Agents comme solution la plus complète et performante parmi celles testées.

So, everyone is claiming that 2026 is the year of AI agents. And honestly, I was skeptical. The hype is everywhere. But does anything actually live up to all of these promises? So, I decided to find out the hard way. I spent the last 3 weeks testing every single hyped AI agent tool that claims to be free. And let me tell you, most of them are either complete garbage or have hidden payw walls that'll drain your wallet faster than you can say automation. But here's the thing that really did shock me. A few of these tools can literally replace hours of manual work with just a few clicks. And I'm talking about automations so powerful they actually feel like cheating. I built real workflows, tested actual use cases, and pushed each tool to its breaking point to see what really works and what's just marketing fluff. Some tools that look incredible in demos just completely fall apart when you try to build anything real. Others that seem basic on the surface actually turn out to be absolute game changers. So, in this video, I'm going to show you exactly which tools are genuinely free versus the ones with sneaky gotcha pricing and what each one is actually good for and where they completely just break down. So, whether you want to build automations, create SAS products, or just streamline your workflow, then this breakdown will save you weeks of trial and error. There's also one tool here that completely dominated the rest, and it's probably not the one that you're thinking of either. So, make sure to stick around until the end of the video to see which free AI agent tool actually takes the crown. And here's the exclusive part. I've created a free course showing you how to build AI agents and apps and websites and even SAS products with the winning tool. All of course, completely without code. Now, this course normally costs $299 to join, but for the people watching this video, thank you very much. It is completely free for you. Now, this isn't just theory either. You'll learn to create real profitable applications using AI, and you can only access this course by watching until the very end. So, please don't skip ahead. And still, if you got it, then check out the link in the description below if you just can't wait. So, there's been a huge push around AI agents lately with tools claiming that they can handle tasks for you from very start to the very end. And the idea sounds great on paper. Give it a prompt and it does all the work, but once you actually try these tools out, the experience can vary a lot depending on which one you're using. So the real question is which of these AI agent tools actually works without making things unnecessarily complicated, especially if you don't even have a technical background. So to test that properly, four different AI agent platforms are given the exact same task. Nothing overly complex, just something very practical that you would actually use an AI agent for. And we're going to be using this prompt. Research the current state of electric vehicles in 2026, specifically the most popular EV brands and models. Summarize the latest fundings on battery range improvements, charging infrastructure, pricing trends, and consumer adoption rates. Now, deliver the output as a clean, structured report with clear sections, and key takeaways at the end. So, once each platform delivers its then report, we're going to send a follow-up prompt like this. Compile the report as a PDF and send it to us via email. That's it. The idea isn't just to test researchability, but to see how far each tool can go in completing a full workflow from start to finish. So, to keep everything fair, each tool will be evaluated across the same areas. And that includes the setup experience, how long it takes to actually run the task, the quality of the output, and how easy it is to use overall once you're inside of the platform. Pricing is also part of the picture because once you move past testing and then you actually want to use these AI tools consistently, costs then start to really matter. So that by the end it will be clear which tool can give you the best result for the least amount of effort and which ones sound so good at first but they don't really hold up once you start using them. So let's start with N8N. N8 is built around a nodebased system. So instead of just typing out a prompt and then getting a result, you're actually creating workflows by connecting different pieces together. And then that gives you a lot of flexibility since you can control exactly how everything runs. But at the same time, it's not the kind of interface that most people are actually used to, especially if you're coming in without any technical background at all whatsoever. And it can feel a bit overwhelming right away. And they do have their own AI agent that helps generate the workflow for you, which is what we used here. But even with that, you still need to understand how things connect and what's happening behind those scenes. All right, so setting this up is the most complicated compared to the other platforms. So there's no native AI integrations and so before anything else, we do need to get an API key from a third-party provider and then configure it manually. After that, you're building the workflow using nodes, connecting them correctly, and then fixing things when something does not work out. And the AI helps generate the setup, but it's not always accurate. So you will still need to end up troubleshooting along the way. So for someone new, it doesn't feel like something that you can just open up and run. Speed. Because of all that setup and the constant adjustments, this ends up being the slowest platform in the test. There isn't really a clean run where everything just works from start to finish. Something breaks, you fix it, and then something else needs adjusting. So even though the task does eventually run, then getting there takes a lot more time compared to the others. Output quality. After finally getting the workflow to run, we are going to use the follow-up prompt to compile the report as a PDF and then send it via email. On the surface, it looks like everything works. The report is generated, the process is completed, and technically the task is done. But once you actually look at the content, well, there's a big problem. The information isn't current. Instead of pulling live data, it replies on its training data, which only goes up to 2023. So, even though the structure is there and it delivers something, it's not accurate for 2026. Now, as for ease of use, this is easily the hardest platform to use in this test. The nodebased system already requires a different way of thinking. And on top of that, you're already dealing with external configurations before you even start. Now, it's not impossible to use, but it definitely expects more patience and some level of technical comfort. You have to be okay with figuring things out as you go and fixing issues when they come up. As for the overall verdict, well, N8M does technically complete the task and the PDF and email flow should work as intended. The issue is that the output itself isn't reliable since it is based on outdated data. When you combine that with the most demanding setup process out of all of the tools, it just becomes clear that this isn't really built for beginners or for even quick straightforward use. It is powerful, yes, but for this kind of task, it just adds more friction than it removes. And then when you factor in pricing, that trade-off becomes even more noticeable. Naden has a free self-hosted community edition where you can run it on your own infrastructure with no execution limits. And if you go with their cloud version, while the starter plan is $24 per month for 2500 executions, the pro plan is $60 per month for 10,000 executions. and the business plan jumps to $800 per month for 40,000 executions. There's also an enterprise tier with custom pricing depending on your needs. And if you pay annually, of course, it brings the cost down by around say 17%. So now moving on to Chad GBT, this is probably the one that most people are already familiar with. In terms of overall platform experience, Chat GBT is Open AI's AI assistant that can handle a range of tasks from a single prompt. It can browse the web, it can run code, it can manage files, and it can complete multi-step requests without needing anything extra. Actually, everything runs directly inside of the chat GPT interface. So, you are not dealing with external tools or setup. You just describe what you need and then it handles the rest for you. Getting started here is very straightforward. Just open up chat GPT, enter your prompt, and it immediately begins working on the task. There's no configuration at all, no API keys, and nothing extra that you need to set up beforehand. It is very direct, which makes it easy to just kind of focus on the task instead of figuring out how the platform works. Now, in terms of speed, the task is already done in say around four minutes from start to finish. And that includes generating the full report and handling the follow-up prompt for the PDF. It's not the fastest in this test, but it is still quick enough to feel smooth, and there aren't any delays or interruptions during the whole process. And the output comes out solid. The report is properly structured. All the requested sections are already included and the information is indeed accurate and current. After that, we will send the follow-up prompt which also works as expected and the report is compiled into a PDF. Now, the only limitation shows up at the final step. Jet GPT does not support direct email sending. So, while the PDF is created successfully, it still needs to be downloaded and then sent manually. So, this is one of the easiest platforms to use. Most people are already familiar with how Chat GPT works, so there's no real learning curve. You open it up, you type in your prompt, and then it runs. Overall, Chat GPT delivers a solid result here. The output quality is strong, and the PDF compilation works without any issues. Now, the only thing missing is direct email functionality, so the last step requires a bit more manual work. Now, if you're already using ChatGpt regularly, then it still fits naturally into your workflow. But that gap is worth keeping in mind because when it comes to pricing, here's how it breaks down. Chat GPT is available for free with limited access, of course. The Plus plan is $20 per month and unlocks significantly more usage and capabilities. The Pro plan is $200 per month, which is designed for heavier usage and access to more powerful models. Next up is Claude. And this one feels very straightforward right away as well because Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant and it runs directly through the browser at claude.ai. In terms of overall platform experience, well, everything is handled again through conversation. So, you're still not dealing with different tools or different interfaces. You can just ask it to research topics, to analyze information, to write and structure reports, and complete multi-step tasks just by prompting. It keeps everything in one place, which makes the experience just feel simple and focused. There is no installation. There's no extra setup. You just open up your browser and then you start. Getting started here is as simple as it sounds. You open up claw.ai, AI, start a conversation and enter your prompt. That's it. There's no setup process. There's no configuration and nothing that you really need to prepare beforehand. It just works the same across devices, too. So, whether you're on, say, desktop or mobile, you're getting the same experience. And it's one of those cases where you don't really think about setup at all. You just kind of start using it. In terms of speed, the task finishes in around five minutes, and that includes generating the full report and handling the follow-up prompt for the PDF and email. It is a bit slower compared to the others that completed the full workflow, but honestly, the difference isn't that huge. And more importantly, the process runs cleanly the whole way through, so you're not dealing with interruptions or needing to retry anything. And the output comes out strong. The report is well structured, it's thorough, and it covers all the requested sections accurately. It doesn't feel rushed, and the information is clearly organized as well, which makes it even easier to read through. And after that, the follow-up prompt works as expected. The report is compiled into a PDF successfully, and Claude is also able to send it via email. Now that means it completes the entire workflow from research all the way to delivery without needing any manual steps and this is very straightforward to use as well. Everything happens through conversation. So there's no learning curve or extra features to figure things out. It is very easy to use especially if you've used any chatbased AI before. Overall, Claude produces a strong output and the full workflow including PDF compilation and email delivery. All of those work correctly. It's also the most accessible tool as well in this test since it runs entirely in the browser with no additional requirements. And the overall experience here feels clean and consistent from start to finish with no extra steps getting in our way. And when it comes to pricing, here's how it's structured. Because Claude is accessible for free with limited usage, of course. The Pro plan is $20 per month and unlocks significantly more usage. The Max 5X plan is $100 per month, and the Max 20X plan is $200 per month for heavier workloads. And overall, it sits in a similar range to Chat GPT, but with the added benefit of completing the full workflow without needing anything extra. Now, finally, we have the base 44 super agents. And the experience here feels noticeably different compared to the others because base 44 super agents are base 44's built-in AI agent feature. So, it is already part of the platform rather than say something you need to connect separately to. In terms of overall platform experience, you just describe the task and it runs. Another thing that stands out is how it connects directly to base 44 apps. So, anything that you generate isn't just an output. It can actually be used inside a working application. And getting started here is very straightforward. Super Agents is already built into B 44. So, there's no setup process at all. You just open it up, you enter in your prompt, and then it begins running immediately. There are no API keys, no external tools, and nothing that you need to configure beforehand. In terms of speed, this is the fastest out of all four platforms. The task is already done around, say, 3 minutes, which is noticeably quicker than the others. So, that includes generating the full report and handling the follow-up prompt. And the process runs cleanly without interruption. So everything just feels quick and consistent from start to finish. And now for the quality, the output came out clean and complete. The report is well structured. All the requested sections are included and the information is current and relevant to 2026. Nothing feels missing or incomplete. And after that, the follow-up prompt works as expected as well because now the report is compiled into a PDF and B 44 prompts you to connect your email to send it showing that the full workflow is in place and functioning properly. So this is the most straightforward experience out of all of these four platforms. There are no extra steps, there's no configurations, and there is no external dependencies. Everything is handled through a single prompt, which then makes it easy to use even if you've never even worked with AI tools before. Base 44 Super Agents clearly stand out here. It has the fastest setup, the fastest output, and everything just works on the first try, even including the PDF and email step. Now, the entire process here feels smooth from start to finish, and it is something a non-technical user could realistically use without running into issues. So, now when it comes to pricing, here's how it's structured. Super Agents runs on base 44's existing credit system. So, the free plan gives you 25 message credits per month with a daily cap of five along with 500 integration credits. The starter plan is $20 per month, the builder plan is $50. The pro plan is $80 and the elite plan is 160 bucks per month. Higher plans of course increase both the number of credits and how many agent runs you can handle. So it does scale depending on how much you plan to use it. So after testing all four platforms side by side, the differences were pretty clear. N had the steepest learning curve. There was a lot of setup involved, configuring APIs, building nodes, and troubleshooting along the way. And even after putting in all that effort, the final output still pulled in outdated data, which kind of defeats the whole purpose. Chat GPT was much easier to work with. You can go ahead and get solid, well ststructured output quickly without much friction. The only downside is that it can't send emails directly, so you still have to step in and finish that last part manually. Claude actually handled the full workflow end to end. It generated the PDF correctly and even took care of the email delivery. The trade-off, well, it's speed. It worked, but it was noticeably slower compared to the others. Then there's base 44 super agents, which really do stand out here. And the biggest difference is how little effort it does take to get started. There's no API keys, no installs, no configuration. You just type your prompt and then you go. It wrapped everything up in about 3 minutes for me. Pulled in accurate and up-to-date information and then handled both the PDF creation and email delivery on the first try without any hiccups. So, if you're not technical or you just don't really want to deal with the setup, Bass 44 is easily the smoothest experience here. It doesn't just work. It just gets out of your way and then lets you focus on the outcome instead of the process. All right, so circling back now to the question at the start of this video, do these AI agent tools actually live up to the hype? Well, yeah, some of them do, but not in the way that you'd expect. Nan is powerful, but the setup is too heavy for something this simple. JBT is easy and it's reliable, but it does stop short at the final step. Claude gets closer by completing the full workflow, but it still feels more like a general assistant. Base 44 Super Agents is the only one that actually delivers end to end without adding any additional friction. And that's what separates it from the rest. And that's why it takes the top spot here. Now, if you really want to learn how to actually use it to build real apps and automations, just check out the free course down below in the description. That's it for now. Thank you for investing your time with me today. I'll see you at the next
